DMFS Secures DLA JAMA IV Contract for Additive Manufacturing Parts
DMG MORI Federal Services has been awarded its first contract under the DLA's JAMA IV Pilot Parts Program, effective February 25, 2026. This initiative aims to enhance supply chain resilience in defense procurement by qualifying a diverse vendor pool for advanced manufacturing technologies.

DMG MORI Federal Services (DMFS) will participate in the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) Joint Additive Manufacturing Accelerator (JAMA) IV Pilot Parts Program, marking its inaugural venture into additive manufacturing (AM) parts production. The program is structured as a qualification framework, allowing the government to engage pre-approved vendors like DMFS for individual work orders.
Production will be carried out using the LASERTEC 30 SLM US system from DMG MORI's Davis, California facility. This contract is notable as it aligns with federal initiatives to prioritize US-sourced manufacturing technologies. Other companies, including Nikon AM Synergy and Applied Rapid Technologies, have also been contracted under this program, underscoring a strategic push by the DLA to diversify its supplier base to address challenges in defense procurement.
