DOID Reports 89.6% Losses, Plans BKM Project Divestment for USD 105 Million
DOID's net losses surged to USD 116.3 million in 2025, driven by production disruptions and asset impairments. The planned divestment of the BKM Project for USD 105 million reflects strategic repositioning amidst declining revenues.

PT BUMA Internasional Grup Tbk (DOID) reported a net loss of USD 116.3 million in 2025, an increase of 89.6% year-on-year, primarily due to lower EBITDA and asset impairments. Revenue decreased 15.7% to USD 1.5 billion, with coal production down 6% to 84 million tonnes and overburden removal dropping 19% to 439 million BCM.
Amidst these challenges, DOID plans to divest the BKM Project for USD 105 million to Norin Mining Limited, which has potential cathode copper production of up to 10 tonnes. The company also anticipates a reversal of receivables provisions totaling USD 19.23 million in 2026. The financial outlook remains uncertain as total assets declined to USD 1.5 billion by year-end 2025.
