The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Navy conducted four successful trials of the ADC-150 Air Droppable Container from the Boeing P-8I aircraft off Goa from February 21 to March 1, 2026. The ADC-150 is designed to deliver a payload of up to 150 kg, enhancing naval operational logistics by enabling quick delivery of essential supplies to vessels far from the coast.
The Naval Science and Technological Laboratory in Visakhapatnam led the project, with support from various other DRDO establishments. The system is expected to be inducted into the Indian Navy soon.
