DRDO and Indian Navy Successfully Test ADC-150 from P-8I Aircraft Off Goa
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Navy conducted four successful in-flight release trials of the indigenous Air Droppable Container (ADC-150) from P-8I aircraft off Goa between February 21 and March 1. The ADC-150, designed to carry a 150 kg payload, enhances naval logistics capabilities for rapid delivery of supplies to vessels at sea. With all trials completed, the system is expected to be inducted into the Indian Navy soon.

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Navy have successfully conducted four in-flight release trials of the indigenous Air Droppable Container (ADC-150) from a P-8I aircraft off the coast of Goa from February 21 to March 1. The ADC-150 is designed to deliver payloads up to 150 kg, facilitating rapid logistics support for naval vessels operating far from the coast.
The Naval Science and Technological Laboratory in Visakhapatnam led the project, with support from various other DRDO labs. Following successful trials, the ADC-150 is expected to be inducted into the Indian Navy soon.
