Droidup Unveils Moya, World’s First Complete Biomimetic Humanoid Robot
Droidup has launched Moya, a humanoid robot with warm skin and digital eyes, designed for various service roles. Expected to be available by the end of 2026 at a price of 1.2 million yen, Moya aims to enhance human interaction in settings such as banks and museums. With a walking accuracy of 92% and capabilities for micro-expressions, Moya represents a significant advancement in robotic technology, despite humanoid robots remaining largely inaccessible to consumers.

The startup Droidup has introduced Moya, a humanoid robot characterized by warm skin and digital eyes, expected to begin service in locations like banks and museums by late 2026. Moya’s body temperature ranges from 32°C to 36°C, enhancing human interaction.
Its walking precision is estimated at 92%, allowing it to move in a realistic manner. Priced at 1.2 million yen (about $173,000), Moya is designed for roles in health, education, and commerce. Its advanced AI enables micro-expressions, marking it as the first complete biomimetic intelligent robot. Practical applications of humanoid robots are emerging, as shown by UBTech Robotics' contract for border inspections.
