E-INFRA Group to Invest €250 Million in Hybrid Energy Infrastructure in Romania

E-INFRA Group, led by CEO Gianina Pelea, plans to invest €250 million in 2026 to modernize energy infrastructure in Romania. At the ZF Power Summit, Pelea noted that the future of energy relies on hybrid systems that combine green energy with flexible storage solutions, situated near consumers to minimize losses. E-INFRA, a major energy firm owned by Teofil Mureșan, manages various energy-related activities and is involved in the RoPower Nuclear project, which aims to develop Europe’s first small modular reactor in Doicești.
