ECC Approves Rs7bn for Sustainable Development and Security Initiatives
The Economic Coordination Committee allocated Rs7,026.3 million for Sustainable Development Goals and other key projects. This funding aims to support development continuity, enhanced security measures, and infrastructure upgrades across multiple sectors.

The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) approved several Technical Supplementary Grants (TSGs) totaling Rs7,026.3 million for the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme (SAP) to ensure project continuity and cost management. Additionally, Rs10.15 billion was allocated for the Pakistan Navy's Hangor Project under the RAFDP-2030.
Other approvals included Rs692.9 million for security during the Islamabad Peace Talks, and Rs1,883.7 million for the Expansion of Safe City, Islamabad. Infrastructure projects received attention, with Rs8,758.9 million for urban development in Karachi and Hyderabad, and Rs4.377 billion for the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan's initiatives. The ECC's support for these allocations indicates a focus on enhancing security and infrastructure, potentially impacting regional stability and development progress.
