EDGE and Indra Group to Establish Defense Manufacturing Company in Spain
EDGE and Indra Group are launching a defense manufacturing company in Spain to create loitering munitions and smart weapons, backed by an investment of €15-20 million. The joint venture, based in León, expects a potential order pipeline worth €2 billion. Additionally, Spain will transfer a Lanza LTR-25 radar system to Ukraine, valued at €37 million, to bolster its air defense capabilities.

EDGE and Indra Group are establishing a new defense manufacturing company in Spain to develop and produce loitering munitions and smart weapons for Spanish and European defense programs. The joint venture will operate in León, with an investment of €15-20 million ($17-23 million) from Indra.
The companies anticipate a potential order pipeline valued at €2 billion. Separately, Spain will transfer a Lanza LTR-25 radar system to Ukraine, valued at €37 million, to enhance its air defense capabilities, valid until December 31, 2026.
