Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for a 100MW power-generating plant and a 300 metric tons per day LNG facility at Taihu Industrial Park, Ologbo. These projects are part of the administration's strategy to promote sustainable economic growth, energy security, and industrial development.

Okpebholo noted the importance of reliable power supply for industrialization and the need for community support to protect the investment. The Commissioner for Power, Paul Usebor, highlighted the projects' potential to enhance electricity supply and promote cleaner energy utilization. The facility is scheduled for completion in six months.
