Eluned Morgan Unveils Economic and Healthcare Vision for North Wales
First Minister Eluned Morgan has outlined her vision for North Wales, aiming to establish the region as a hub for clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and the digital economy through initiatives like a new industrial strategy and a National Jobs Council. Key projects include a £2.5bn Small Modular Reactor at Wylfa and an AI Growth Zone expected to create over 3,000 jobs, alongside significant healthcare improvements such as the rebuilding of Wrexham Maelor Hospital and a new surgical center in Llandudno, backed by £4bn from the Hospitals of the Future Fund.
