Emerson Introduces NI USRP X420 Software Defined Radio for Radar, Satellite, and 6G Research
Emerson has launched the NI USRP X420, a software defined radio (SDR) with frequency coverage up to 20 GHz, designed for advanced radar, satellite communications, and 6G research. The X420 features a phase-coherent multi-channel architecture and high instantaneous bandwidth, enabling rapid development of complex RF systems across various sectors, including aerospace and defense.

Emerson has introduced the NI USRP X420, a software defined radio (SDR) catering to advanced radar systems, satellite communications, and 6G research. It offers frequency coverage up to 20 GHz, facilitating access to high-frequency spectrum for applications such as multi-channel radar and non-terrestrial networks (NTN).
The X420 features a phase-coherent multi-channel architecture with integrated local oscillator sharing, enhancing synchronization and reducing complexity. Its high instantaneous bandwidth allows for wideband signal capture and generation. This SDR targets academic labs, government research, and commercial innovations in aerospace, defense, and wireless communications.
