Enflame Technology Plans $911 Million IPO Amid Semiconductor Competition
Shanghai Enflame Technology, supported by Tencent, aims to raise approximately 6.12 billion yuan ($911 million) in its IPO. This marks a critical step for China's semiconductor sector as it confronts global competition and seeks to enhance self-reliance in technology.

Shanghai Enflame Technology Co. intends to raise about 6.12 billion yuan ($911 million) in an IPO on the Shanghai STAR Market. The offering, which involves selling around 43 million shares at a price of 142.18 yuan each, values the company at approximately $2.8 billion pre-IPO.
Enflame is the final member of China's 'four little dragons' of AI chipmakers to enter public markets, following Moore Threads, MetaX, and Biren Technology. While the company reported a net loss of around 1.2 billion yuan in 2025, it has forecasted potential profitability by 2026 or 2027.
Enflame's revenue grew at a compound annual growth rate of 81% from 2023 to 2025, indicating strong demand for its AI chips designed for cloud applications. However, reliance on Tencent for 84% of its revenue poses risks, emphasizing the need for a diversified customer base to support sustainable growth. US export restrictions further complicate Enflame's competitive positioning in the global market.
