ENGIE and Equinor have agreed to document the origin and greenhouse gas emissions of Norwegian gas in their sales agreement, utilizing a platform by Attributes SAS to track sustainability qualities. This move responds to rising demand for transparency in energy origins.
Concurrently, Equinor has signed a five-year natural gas supply contract with Eneco for the Netherlands, starting February 1, allowing for up to 500 million cubic meters annually from the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
