Eni has begun gas production from the Quiluma field in Angola, part of the New Gas Consortium (NGC), with initial output at 150 MMscf/d, expected to rise to 330 MMscf/d by 2026. The gas will be processed at the Soyo gas treatment plant and supplied to the Angola LNG facility.
The NGC targets non-associated gas resources, supporting Angola's LNG export and domestic gas utilization. Additionally, Eni has secured a €9 billion credit facility to replace existing lines, enhancing liquidity for ongoing investments. The financing was oversubscribed by approximately 40%, reinforcing Eni's capital access for long-term growth.
