EP Biocomposites Advances Sustainability with Solar Power and Record-Setting Pledge Event
EP Biocomposites Limited has launched a 30-kW Solar Photovoltaic Rooftop Power System at its Goa facility and organized an environmental pledge event, recognized by the Golden Book of World Records. These initiatives enhance the company's commitment to sustainability, aiming to reduce energy costs and foster community engagement in environmental conservation.

EP Biocomposites Limited has commissioned a 30-kW Solar Photovoltaic Rooftop Power System at its Goa facility, designed to meet the entire electricity needs of the plant through renewable energy. The project is expected to generate annual savings of approximately ₹1.50 lakh and improve energy efficiency, reducing reliance on traditional electricity sources.
Additionally, the company organized an event involving 1,327 participants that resulted in a world record for the Most People Taking an Environmental Protection Pledge Simultaneously, promoting community involvement in sustainability efforts. This aligns with the Chief Minister's 'Green Goa, Clean Goa' initiative and supports Goa's goal of planting 10 lakh trees. The integration of clean energy and community engagement positions EP Biocomposites as a leader in sustainability within the manufacturing sector.
