EPI Invites EOI for 250 MW Solar PV Project Near Bikaner Under SGEL Tender
Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. (EPI) has announced an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a 250 MW solar photovoltaic project near Bikaner, in collaboration with SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL). The project will require the selected contractor to manage all Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) tasks, with bids due by February 7, 2026, and specific financial and technical eligibility criteria outlined. An Earnest Money Deposit of ₹10 lakh and a performance guarantee of ₹26.5 crore are also required for participation.

Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. (EPI) has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a 250 MW solar photovoltaic project near the Bikaner-IV substation in Rajasthan, as part of a pre-tender arrangement with SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL).
The selected contractor will handle all aspects of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), including land acquisition, design, procurement, and installation, along with three years of operation and maintenance. Bidders must have experience in commissioning at least one solar plant of 10 MW capacity and a cumulative experience of 30 MW in the last ten years.
Financial eligibility requires an average annual turnover of ₹400 crore and a minimum net worth of ₹80 crore as of March 2025. Technical bids are due by February 7, 2026, with the EOI published on January 30, 2026. An Earnest Money Deposit of ₹10 lakh is required, with a performance guarantee of ₹26.5 crore to be submitted to SGEL.
