Ethiopian Peacekeepers Enhance Global Role through UNDP Partnership
Ethiopia's International Peace Support Training Institute (IPSTI) has secured a partnership with UNDP to boost its peacekeeping training capabilities. This collaboration aims to cultivate skilled professionals for international missions, reinforcing Ethiopia's longstanding commitment to global peacekeeping since 1951.

The Ethiopian National Defense Forces' International Peace Support Training Institute (IPSTI) has formalized an agreement with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to enhance its training for Master's degree students in international peacekeeping. This initiative aims to foster a new generation of skilled professionals, reinforcing Ethiopia's role in peacekeeping missions worldwide.
Japan's ongoing support, along with UNDP's partnership, is set to improve the quality of training programs at IPSTI. Ethiopia's participation in international peacekeeping has been consistent since 1951, and this collaboration may further solidify its standing as a reliable contributor to global stability.
