Eurobattery Minerals Submits CRMA Applications for San Juan and Hautalampi Projects
Eurobattery Minerals AB has submitted applications for Strategic Project status under the EU's Critical Raw Materials Act for its San Juan tungsten project in Spain and the Hautalampi battery mineral project in Finland. The European Commission will review these applications, with results anticipated in about four months, which could enhance Europe's tungsten supply by streamlining permitting and financing processes. Additionally, the EU has proposed approximately €38 billion in financial assistance for several member states under the Security Action for Europe initiative.

Recognition as a Strategic Project would facilitate permitting processes and access to financing, strengthening Europe's supply of tungsten. Separately, the EU proposed financial assistance for Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain, Croatia, Cyprus, Portugal, and Romania under the Security Action for Europe initiative, with a total of around €38 billion available for military readiness and defense equipment.
