European Countries Establish Military Drone Market
A new European military drone marketplace, BASE, is projected to generate over $1.6 billion in revenue by 2026. This initiative by Dutch startup Intelic aims to enhance procurement efficiency for defense systems across nine European nations.

Intelic has launched BASE, a marketplace for military drones that includes manufacturers from nine European countries. The platform allows customers to compare drones based on features and prices, streamlining the purchasing process.
Currently focused on unmanned aerial vehicles, BASE plans to expand to other unmanned systems in the future. The platform also integrates the Nexus management software, enabling interoperability among different manufacturers' drones.
Registered companies include Tekever and Beyond Vision from Portugal, DeltaQuad, Avy, Acecore Technologies, and Height Technologies from the Netherlands, Highcat from Germany, Origin Robotics from Latvia, and Airvolute from Slovakia. Additionally, manufacturers from France, the UK, and Ukraine are partners in this initiative.
