Evolve Dynamics' WOLFE-NATO UAS Wins Dstl Contract for Autonomous Drone Swarm Development
A British consortium led by Applied Intuition UK has been awarded the Dstl Software Defined Swarms contract to develop a test bed for ground-launched drone swarms. The project aims to enhance swarming behaviors through simulations and live trials, utilizing Evolve Dynamics' WOLFE-NATO UAS platform, which is designed for advanced autonomy and secure operations.

The Ministry of Defence's Defence and Science Technology Laboratory (Dstl) has awarded a contract to a British consortium, including Applied Intuition UK and Evolve Dynamics, for the Software Defined Swarms project. This initiative will create a test bed for ground-launched drone swarms, enabling trials of advanced swarming behaviors.
The WOLFE-NATO UAS from Evolve Dynamics will serve as the primary platform, offering advanced autonomy and a secure component supply chain. The project aims to support the British Army's '20-40-40' priority by providing a scalable autonomy testbed for operational conditions.
