The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) has set the natural gas price for March 2026 at EUR 32.60 per MWh, excluding additional charges. This price is a reduction from EUR 32.85/MWh proposed by Bulgargaz and represents a nearly 27% drop compared to March 2025's EUR 44.78/MWh.

The pricing incorporates Azerbaijani gas via the Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria and liquefied natural gas under contracts with traders, along with withdrawals from the Chiren Underground Gas Storage facility. The decision will be published on the EWRC's official website.
