Fabryka Broni announced that the first batch of Grot A3 assault rifles is scheduled for delivery to the Polish Army in June 2026. This timeline was confirmed during the Szpejowisko 2.0 conference on December 11, 2025, where it was noted that the standard Grot A3 rifles have passed type trials.

An upgrade for the 10.5 inch short-barrelled variant is planned, with testing set for the first quarter of 2026. Additionally, there are intentions to procure Grot carbines in a bullpup configuration, which will require further testing before any orders can be finalized. The 6th Airborne Brigade has been a proponent of this configuration, alongside potential interest from the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade.
