Fairbanks Morse Defense (FMD) has secured an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) with Welin Lambie to provide aftermarket support for davits on the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) fleet. Signed in July 2025, the contract includes a base year and four optional one-year extensions, potentially lasting until 2030.

This agreement guarantees access to OEM-quality parts and services, supporting fleet readiness and reliability of launch-and-recovery systems. The contract allows for predictable costs and streamlined procurement for OEM parts, technical services, overhauls, and new davit systems as needed. FMD's Federal Equipment Company (FEC) will provide specialized expertise in overhauling USCG davit systems, ensuring improved lifecycle management and access to certified technicians.
