Farciennes Unveils Financial Aid for Local Businesses Following Major Corporate Developments
Farciennes has launched the 'Objectif 6240' initiative to support local businesses with grants up to €3,000. This comes as the municipality prepares for the opening of a significant Mercedes dealership and a Google data center, expected to attract hundreds of new consumers in 2026.

The 'Objectif 6240' program will provide financial assistance to small businesses in Farciennes, offering grants up to €3,000 for new and innovative ventures. This initiative is a response to the upcoming establishment of one of Belgium's largest Mercedes dealerships and a Google data center, projected to create economic growth starting in the first half of 2026.
Grants will cover up to 75% of investment costs and applications will be evaluated by a local jury. The effort aims to decrease vacant retail spaces and foster commercial diversity, enhancing urban appeal. The existing 'Objectif Proximité' program, supported by the government, will remain active until 2024.
