Federated Wireless Launches First Private 5G Network for U.S. Marine Corps
Federated Wireless has announced the successful authorization of the Marine Corps' 5G Private Infrastructure Network (5G PIN) at MCLB Albany, Georgia. This Authority to Operate (ATO) enables the network to support mission-critical logistics with compliance to DoW and USMC standards.

The Marine Corps Logistics Command has granted an Authority to Operate for its 5G Private Infrastructure Network at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Georgia. Federated Wireless served as the prime contractor, overseeing design, integration, deployment, and cybersecurity compliance in collaboration with HPE and JMA Wireless.
This private 5G network is engineered for low-latency and reliable connectivity, facilitating advanced applications such as AI, robotics, and automated systems. The deployment provides a model for future private 5G implementations across Marine Corps operations and other federal agencies. It signifies a strategic shift towards secure, high-performance cellular networks in defense infrastructure, addressing the limitations of existing wireless systems.
