FedEx Launches Solar Power Installation at Shanghai Cargo Hub to Boost Sustainability
FedEx has initiated its first on-site solar installation at the Shanghai International Express and Cargo Hub, becoming the first logistics company at Shanghai Pudong International Airport to generate solar power. The installation covers over 4,000 square meters and is expected to produce approximately 743,000 kilowatt-hours annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 417 metric tons. This project is part of FedEx's broader renewable energy strategy in the Asia Pacific region, which includes other solar initiatives in South Korea, Beijing, and Singapore.
