Felicis Capital Expands Focus on Robotics and Defense with New Hire
Felicis Capital has appointed Graham Littlehale as a partner to enhance investments in aerospace, defense, and robotics. This move reflects a growing interest in hard tech, with $16.3 billion raised in robotics and physical AI in Q1 2026.

Felicis Capital is intensifying its investment strategy in hard technology by hiring Graham Littlehale as a partner. Littlehale, formerly at Point72 Ventures, has a background in national security investments and will focus on aerospace, defense, energy, manufacturing, and robotics.
In Q1 2026, robotics and physical AI startups secured $16.3 billion across 492 deals, marking a record quarter for both funding and deal count. Littlehale aims to develop manufacturing foundation models and explore opportunities in space and undersea technology, which he views as vital for U.S. economic resilience and national security. His approach suggests a shift in robotics development from general models to task-specific capabilities.
