Fieldwork Robotics Secures £3 Million for Agricultural Robot Trials
Fieldwork Robotics has obtained £3 million in funding to advance trials of its autonomous harvesting robots in real farm settings. This investment aims to enhance productivity and reduce labor reliance for berry growers, with multi-robot deployments expected by 2027.

Fieldwork Robotics has secured £3 million to support the trial and adoption of its autonomous harvesting robots in agricultural operations. The funding will facilitate the manufacturing of new production robots over a two-year program in Norfolk and Stafford, in collaboration with Place UK and Littywood Farm.
The company anticipates deploying multi-robot fleets on farms starting in 2027. This investment, led by Elbow Beach Capital, reflects confidence in the company's technology, which addresses labor shortages and meets increasing automation demands in the agricultural sector. Potential widespread adoption of these robots could significantly transform labor dynamics and efficiency in berry farming.
