The US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit upheld a decision granting a construction deadline extension for the Texas LNG export terminal project, initially approved in May 2020. The South Texas Environmental Justice Network had challenged the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality's decision to extend the construction deadline for Texas LNG Brownsville LLC. The court found that the extension was supported by substantial evidence.
