Fire Point and EDGE Group to Collaborate on UAE Spaceport and Missile Program

Ukrainian defense company Fire Point is considering building a spaceport in the UAE and developing a missile program as part of a deal with UAE's EDGE Group, which plans to acquire a 30% stake in Fire Point for about $760 million. An official announcement is expected by Q1 2024.

Fire Point, founded in 2022, produces drones and missiles and aims to revive Ukraine's space program. EDGE, established in 2019 and based in Abu Dhabi, comprises over 35 organizations focused on defense technologies.
