Flex Expands Aguascalientes Plant to Enhance Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Hub

Flex has inaugurated an expansion of its Aguascalientes plant, reinforcing the state's position as a hub for advanced manufacturing. The facility employs over 5,000 workers and integrates various manufacturing processes.
The expansion is anticipated to create additional employment and enhance regional manufacturing capabilities. Aguascalientes is experiencing a wave of industrial investments, with 30 projects totaling over US$600 million and an expected 8,000 new jobs by 2026. The state government is also focusing on logistics infrastructure, with a MX$200 million investment from Gasomax-XSTOP to develop freight transport facilities, generating around 500 jobs.
