Fluor Reports Decrease in Profits as It Sells $1.35 Billion in NuScale Nuclear Shares
Fluor's revenue in Urban Solutions increased to $9.2 billion in 2025 but profits dipped to $205 million. Energy Solutions saw a revenue decline to $3.6 billion, with a loss of $414 million due to a revenue reversal linked to the Gladstone LNG project in Australia. Fluor sold 71 million shares of NuScale Power Corporation for $1.35 billion and aims to sell the remaining 40 million shares by Q2 2026.

Fluor's Urban Solutions revenue increased to $9.2 billion in 2025, with profits dropping to $205 million from $304 million in 2024. The company secured new awards of $8.7 billion. In Energy Solutions, revenue fell to $3.6 billion with a loss of $414 million attributed to a $643 million reversal related to the Gladstone LNG project in Australia, a dispute lasting nearly 10 years.
Mission Solutions saw profits decline to $94 million on stable revenue of $2.7 billion. Fluor's total order backlog reached $25.5 billion. The company sold 71 million shares of NuScale Power for $1.35 billion, with plans to sell an additional 40 million shares by Q2 2026.
