FMV Orders Additional Teledyne GAVIA AUV Systems for Swedish Armed Forces
The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has placed a follow-on order for additional GAVIA Autonomous Underwater Vehicles and payload modules from Teledyne Gavia. This order enhances the capabilities of the Swedish Armed Forces, building on previous successful deliveries. The agreement, signed at the Navy Tech Conference in Gothenburg, Sweden, supports Mine Countermeasures (MCM) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations and is part of a multiyear framework agreement for fleet modernization.

This order follows the initial delivery of GAVIA systems to the Swedish Armed Forces in 2025, enhancing mission capabilities and operational flexibility.
The agreement was signed at the Navy Tech Conference in Gothenburg, Sweden. The GAVIA systems support Mine Countermeasures (MCM) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations, with a modular design that allows adaptation to various mission profiles.
