Northampton Capital Partners, with APG Asset Management and other investors, has established Cypress Infrastructure, focusing on renewable energy investments. This initiative includes a preferred equity investment in Terra-Gen's renewable energy portfolio, featuring a 128.7 MW battery storage system and a 238.5 MW wind project.

Northampton Capital Partners LLC, alongside APG Asset Management and other institutional investors, has formed Cypress Infrastructure to invest in renewable energy projects in North America. The initial investment targets a portfolio owned by Terra-Gen, which includes a 128.7 MW battery storage system in California and a 238.5 MW wind project in Texas.
Lockhart's battery system is fully contracted under a long-term resource adequacy agreement, while Monte Cristo is expected to produce over 850 GWh annually, supplying approximately 81,000 homes. This development indicates a growing trend in the investment landscape toward renewable energy infrastructure, potentially influencing future funding and project viability in the sector.
