Fort Worth Defense Contractors Secure Over $1B in Contracts, Including Lockheed Martin and Elbit America

Fort Worth defense contractors have been awarded over $1 billion in contracts in March. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics received a $700 million modification for F-35 components for Denmark, with 60% of the work at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth.

Another two contracts worth $215.6 million were awarded for flight test support and tooling for the F-35 program, with obligations from various military branches. Elbit America secured a $120.5 million contract from the U.S.

Army for the Soldier Borne Mission Command system, aimed at improving soldiers' night vision capabilities. The work is part of ongoing contracts with specified funding and completion timelines.
