ForwardX Celebrates One Year of AMR Operations at Chery's Dalian Factory
ForwardX marks the first anniversary of its autonomous mobile robot (AMR) deployment at Chery's Dalian factory, where over 270 of 435 planned robots are actively supporting logistics in welding and final assembly workshops. The robots ensure efficient material delivery for daily vehicle production of 800 to 1,000 units, handling 32 parts in welding and 95 parts in final assembly. This deployment enhances internal logistics efficiency and supports lean manufacturing.

ForwardX's autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) have been operational for one year at Chery's Dalian factory, with over 270 of the planned 435 robots deployed. These AMRs support logistics in welding and final assembly workshops, crucial for maintaining stable production lines that produce 800 to 1,000 vehicles daily.
In the welding workshop, 121 AMRs manage 32 different parts, covering over 50% of material demand, while 150 AMRs in final assembly handle 95 parts, nearly 80% of requirements. The deployment has reduced manual transport needs, improving logistics efficiency and supporting lean operations.
