Foundation Laid for 0.8 MW Solar Power Plant in Telangana
The Telangana government is investing ₹3 crore in a new 0.8 MW solar power plant to enhance sustainable energy initiatives. This project is part of broader efforts to improve the state's power infrastructure and reliability for consumers, especially farmers.

Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy inaugurated a 0.8 MW solar power plant in Tirumalayapalem mandal, Khammam, with an investment of ₹3 crore. This initiative aims to bolster Telangana's power grid and promote green energy.
In the past 2.5 years, ₹37.38 crore has been allocated for power sector improvements in the Palair Assembly constituency, including upgrades to three substations at a cost of ₹9 crore. The government's focus on enhancing electricity supply reliability addresses long-standing issues related to power distribution, particularly for vulnerable populations like farmers. Continued investment in this sector is crucial for maintaining a stable power supply and supporting economic growth.
