The Masar waterfront development project in Al-Bar, Wilayat of Sur, will commence with a foundation stone laying on February 11. The project, with an investment of approximately RO 2 million, aims to upgrade urban facilities and improve quality of life.

It will feature a health walkway, cycling track, children's play areas, and padel courts, along with restaurants and commercial kiosks. The initiative aligns with Oman Vision 2040 and is overseen by Al Sharqiyah South Governorate in cooperation with Oman LNG. Construction is scheduled to begin on September 11, with completion expected within one year.
