The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration has signed an agreement with Freire Shipyard to construct four support vessels for the Swedish Royal Navy. Each ship will be 47 meters long, capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and designed for a maximum endurance of 10 days, accommodating up to 16 crew members. The vessels will be equipped with two main cranes and an auxiliary crane for independent loading and unloading operations, as well as a stern ramp for wheeled cargo embarkation and disembarkation.
