France's Defence Procurement Agency has ordered six Airbus Helicopters VSR700 UAV systems to be delivered to the French Navy from 2028. The VSR700, derived from the Cabri G2 helicopter, will feature ISR capabilities including surveillance radar and electro-optical systems.

Naval Group will integrate it into ship combat systems. The UAV has a gross weight of 700 kg, maximum speed of 185 km/h, and a range of 700 km. It is designed for various roles, including surveillance, logistics, and civil missions like firefighting. Airbus is establishing a new production setup to support the program.
