French Navy Orders Six Airbus VSR700 UAVs for Delivery from 2028
France's Defence Procurement Agency has ordered six Airbus VSR700 UAV systems for the French Navy, set to be delivered starting in 2028. The UAV, which has a gross weight of 700 kg and a maximum speed of 185 km/h, will feature advanced ISR capabilities and be integrated into ship combat systems by Naval Group. Airbus is establishing a new production setup to support the program, which will serve various roles including surveillance and logistics.
