Frencken Reports 1.1% Profit Increase to S$19.2 Million Driven by Mechatronics Revenue Growth
Frencken reported a 1.1% increase in net profit to S$19.2 million for H2 FY2025, with revenue rising 2.9% to S$433.7 million, driven by the mechatronics division's performance. Mechatronics revenue grew 2.7% to S$389.1 million, with industrial automation revenue increasing 75.8% to S$26.3 million.
The semiconductor segment saw a 1.1% rise to S$211 million. Despite a 12.4% decline in analytical life sciences revenue, the advanced plastics solutions division's revenue increased 2.8% to S$42.5 million.
For the full year, net profit was up 5.4% to S$39.1 million, and revenue was S$865.1 million. A dividend of S$0.0275 per share has been proposed. The group maintains a cautiously positive outlook for FY2026, particularly for the semiconductor segment.
