Future Union Qatar Signs $2bn LNG Investment MOU with Nigeria's IESL
Future Union Qatar has signed a $2 billion Memorandum of Understanding with International Energy Services Limited (IESL) to invest in a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project in Nigeria. This agreement aims to enhance Nigeria's energy sector by expanding gas production capacity and supporting exports, while also creating significant employment opportunities over the next decade. The partnership is expected to reinforce investor confidence and position Nigeria as a strategic hub for LNG development in Africa.

Future Union Qatar has signed a $2 billion Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with International Energy Services Limited (IESL) for investment in a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project in Nigeria. The agreement was signed in Qatar by Dr.
Diran Fawibe, Chairman of IESL, and endorsed by Dr. Abdelgalil Sharaf, CEO of Future Union. This MOU marks the start of a long-term investment partnership and aims to enhance Nigeria's energy sector by expanding gas production capacity and supporting gas exports.
The project is expected to create substantial employment opportunities across the energy value chain. Implementation is planned over the next ten years, reinforcing investor confidence in Nigeria's energy sector and positioning the country as a strategic hub for LNG development in Africa.
