GAC Launches Updated GS3 Emzoom in Malaysia; PGas Develops RGT-3 Terminal
WTC Automotif has launched the refreshed GAC GS3 Emzoom in Malaysia, with two variants priced accordingly. PGas is set to develop the RGT-3 terminal in Lumut, Perak, with commissioning aimed for Q2 2029, representing significant infrastructure investment.

WTC Automotif has introduced the updated GAC GS3 Emzoom, available in Exclusive and Premium R variants, while maintaining the same mechanical specifications. The 2026 model features a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, generating 177 PS and 270 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds with fuel consumption at 5.9 L/100 km.
PGas has secured the development of the RGT-3 terminal in Lumut, Perak, with a targeted commissioning in Q2 2029. The facility will utilize a FSRU concept, featuring 170,000m³ LNG storage and a 500MMscfd send-out capacity.
This project is expected to positively impact PGas's earnings from 2H2029 onward. Both developments highlight significant investment and growth opportunities in Malaysia's automotive and energy sectors.
