Gecko Robotics Secures $71 Million Contract with U.S. Navy for Fleet Maintenance Automation

Gecko Robotics has signed a five-year IDIQ contract with the U.S. Navy and the General Services Administration, with an initial award of $54 million and a ceiling of $71 million. The company will deploy its robots and sensors to assess and maintain the health of 18 ships in the U.S.

Pacific Fleet. This initiative aims to help the Navy achieve 80% ship readiness by 2027, as current maintenance challenges render about 40% of the fleet unavailable. Gecko's technology can identify repairs up to 50 times faster than manual methods, reducing delays and boosting operational readiness.
