General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has appointed Chris Jaeger as vice president of cross business and strategic initiatives. Jaeger, with over 30 years of federal government experience, will facilitate collaboration within GDMS's portfolio and work with industry leaders to enhance delivery of critical platforms.

He previously served as senior director in GDMS's space, cyber, and intelligence business line from October 2022 to November 2024 and has experience as a foreign service officer at the U.S. Department of State from 1995 to 2004.

Recently, GDMS secured a rapid prototype agreement with the U.S. Army and a potential $230 million contract with the U.S. Navy for weapon systems.
