General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, and Others Secured $25.36B DMEA Contract for Advanced Technology Support
General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, Leidos, Raytheon, and several other companies have secured a $25.36 billion contract for the Defense Microelectronics Activity Advanced Technology Support Program, aimed at addressing emerging technology needs and electronics obsolescence for the Department of Defense. The contract features a base period of five years with options for an additional five years and was awarded after a competitive bidding process that included 17 offers. Initial funding of $65,000 will be allocated from FY26.

General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, Leidos, Raytheon, DRS Network & Imaging Systems, HII Mission Technologies, Vertex Aerospace, and L3Harris Technologies have been awarded a multiple award contract for the Defense Microelectronics Activity Advanced Technology Support Program. This contract has a base ordering period of five years, with two additional option periods of three and two years, establishing a total ordering period of ten years and a program ceiling of $25.36 billion.
At the time of the award, $65,000 in FY26 funds will be obligated. The contract aims to procure engineering development to address emerging technology needs, capability gaps, and electronics obsolescence for the Department of Defense.
The contract was awarded following a competitive process with 17 offers received. The contracting activity is based in McClellan, California.
