General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has been awarded a $988 million contract by the U.S. Navy for the modernization and integration of C5ISR systems across surface combatant ships. The contract, awarded in December, includes a one-year base term, four one-year options, and a six-month option. GDIT will provide engineering, integration, procurement, logistics, and installation services for various vessels, including aircraft carriers and guided missile ships, to enhance naval operational readiness and mission continuity.
