General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Training Innovations at College of Defence Management and Simulator Development Division
General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff, visited the College of Defence Management in Secunderabad and addressed the 21st Higher Defence Management Course. He reviewed innovations at the Simulator Development Division, highlighting the Indian Army's transformation strategy based on five pillars: technology assimilation, organisational restructuring, human resource development, tri-service integration, and indigenisation.
The visit included demonstrations of augmented reality, virtual reality, and AI technologies developed for military training. General Dwivedi emphasized the need for adaptive thinking and proactive security measures. He awarded Commendation Cards to personnel for their contributions to advanced training technologies.
