Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, known as Gentle De Yahoo, has resurfaced in a video after the Nigerian military claimed his capture in October 2025. This resurgence has caused panic among residents in Imo State, particularly in Okigwe Local Government Area, where he is linked to violent incidents.
The military previously reported his capture during operations in the Southeast, but sources now express uncertainty about his fate. Gentle De Yahoo is associated with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), and is believed to be a commander of the Biafra Liberation Army (BLA).
