Ghana Air Force and India Discuss Joint Aircraft Maintenance Training Initiative
The Chief of the Air Staff of Ghana, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, has proposed a collaboration with India to enhance training at the Ghana Air Force Aviation College, focusing on aircraft maintenance and advisory services. This initiative aims to improve technical expertise and operational efficiency within the Air Force.
The remarks were made during a meeting with Indian Defence Attaché Colonel Manoj Singh in Accra, as part of efforts to strengthen military ties between Ghana and India. The Chief of the Air Staff noted the historical military relationship, highlighting contributions from India-trained Ghanaian officers. Colonel Manoj Singh confirmed India's commitment to supporting the Ghana Air Force through training assistance and collaborative programs, advocating for a joint maintenance training program that would benefit both nations.
